2025 Festive 500 | Full Loop Edition
Every year, our friends at Rapha host the Festive 500, a challenge to ride 500km between Christmas Eve and New Years. Here at COTM, we’ve tackled the Festive in a variety of ways over the years. Sometimes, we approach it in pieces, spreading the mileage out across 8 days. Other times, we’ve been a little more ambitious, and gone for the full whammy in one go. 2025 is one of those years.
When you tackle the Festive 500 in one go, or “The Brevet” or “Full Loop” as we’ve come to call it, there are a lot of variables that can influence the outcome. Weather, fitness, mental fortitude, stomach issues, bike fit, mechanicals, and the list goes on. There is no guarantee for the Full Loop. And that’s part of the beauty.
